Our Adventure Canoe Trip on the lower Teifi heads from Llechryd down the gorge on a peaceful section of river as far as Cardigan passing the Teifi marshes.

This trip takes between 3.5-5 hours.

Canoe trip is a peaceful paddle looking at the surrounding natural environment, your Guide will talk to you about the history and wildlife in the gorge. During the trip we ask that you bring a packed lunch, as we stop at a peaceful spot to soak up the environment and have a brew before continuing down river. Our time scale is vague due to all groups being different, if you all want to put your heads down and paddle fast the trip can take just a couple of hours. But our aim for this trip is to relax and enjoy the surroundings in the gorge. If there has been a lot of rain and the river is flowing faster there is not much of a need to paddle as the current will help you along, making it a very relaxing trip. There will always be the odd occasion where paddling is needed to avoid the trees on the bank.

Our pricing is for the whole canoe of people there are two and three seater canoes, if you are a group of 4 this will require 2 canoes.

Please be aware that the middle seat is better suited to children as three larger adults may find the canoe gets slightly unstable, in which case booking two canoes and adding a note for them to be joined to make a catamaran is a nicer trip.

At the end of the trip we will run all the drivers in your group back to their cars. If you need to get back faster an additional taxi can be booked for you at an extra cost.
